"Fabulous hotel. Would stay here again. Great location. Some minor things for me personally was the comfort of the bed and pillows. A little too hard for my liking but that is totally personal preference. Also, a slightly larger fridge would be nice. Otherwise, great stay."

"Lovely stay at this hotel, beautiful room with a great view, nice public bath in the basement, very helpful and friendly staff. Only negative is that there is only 1 washing machine available to males (2 for females) but as there were no females in our group there was a long way to use the washing machine. Would definitely stay again."

"Koko hotel was our favorite hotel throughout our trip! I wish we stayed in Kyoto longer. Our room was spacious and it was close to shopping. The staff were nice and everything was convenient. Would definitely stay again!"

"The room was clean and quite large, much larger than the typical Japanese hotel room. We were on a high floor, and the view was beautiful. The breakfast buffet is fine but not that extensive. For us, the highlight was the front desk staff, which made several calls for us to work out an unexpected difficulty (we don't speak Japanese). They were absolutely fantastic. We can't thank them enough."
