「We had a 2 night stay to celebrate my husband's birthday. Faultless service from the staff in all areas and particularly the restaurant. Spa area and all 3 pools are spotless, just enough loungers, more than enough towels and shade - and on a hot day a beautiful place to chill out after exploring Bath. Bar lounge menus and main restaurant menu are good value, food is excellent.」

「The room was fine but as we went on the hottest day of the year it was like an oven. We were provided with a large fan though. Other than that it was a lovely building and the staff were great.」

We went for long walks around the fields, ate amazing food in the restaurant at the property, swam in a swimming pool, and enjoyed the area around. Definitely recommend to visit! 「Unfortunately while this property is lovely the stay was very inconvenient and I wish I’d stayed in a hotel instead. Cos it’s not a hotel and therefore has no reception or left luggage facility I had to drag my bag around Bath for most of the weekend. Check in is at 3pm and, unlike a hotel, there was nowhere in the property to leave luggage. Check out was ludicrously early at 10am so I had to take my luggage with me then. They do allow early check in and late check out - but charge for every...

「A very beautiful and unique hotel in a spectacular area just away from the tourist drag of Bath city center. The hotel has alot of character and period decor. Its an old hotel, so the heating was nit on, understandibly so as it was May. The plumbing is also not updated, so there is a hot tap and a cold tap at the sink. The facilities are adequate for a shorter stay. The hotel is being upgraded, so there was alot of noise above us for our 2 night stay. The staff are friendly and helpful.」
