"The hotel was in a great location- close to everything and on a really nice area. The hotel was clean, just the lights are in energy saving and go over very frequently without movement (like less than a minute), so no way to leave a light on to be able to see at night without leaving the entire room lights on. It was a smaller room, but we had picked it for the location which was excellent. They had shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel, and a bar of hand soap, but no lotion (so bring some if you need lotion). The towels were al super soft. There really was no option for early check in- like wouldn’t even check to see if a room was available, so don’t plan on that if hoping for a possible early check in. The staff was courteous and helpful. Would stay again. "

"A large, modern and well-appointed hotel in a nice area, 20 min stroll or 5 min cab from centre. Option of big buffet breakfast or good coffee n pastries in lobby, all at extra charge. A good stay at a comparatively reasonable price. Nice walk along grand canal nearby."

"Beautiful hotel in a period style house. The room was excellent. In terms of design and user comfort, everything was perfect. The attention to detail and design of the room was on par with any 5 star hotel around the world. Magnetic door catches, automatic lighting in the wardrobes, mini fridge and simply well laid out bathroom. Otherwise everything was was clean and of high quality in terms of bedding and fixtures in the room. Also have the bonus of secure parking although the only negative was the lack of email response when I asked for directions to the exact parking location (at the rear of the property, accessed from a different street). "

"I am absolutely stunned this has negative reviews, I can only assume the hotel has once again come under new management. Luke was absolutely amazing and extremely available throughout the entirety of our stay, always met us at the door to wish us a good day and even let us drop off our bags early when we arrived to early to check in. The room was spotless and had clearly been cleaned prior to check in. Facilities were everything you need, and the beds were comfy. TV was a bit spotty, but what are you doing coming to Dublin and watching the telly? Conveniently located, comfy, warm, well equipped and a cheaper place to stay- which is welcome in such a pricey city. "

Dylan bar and the Ruby Room were comfortable with excellent cocktails and food. The whole experience was a wonderful birthday present! "
