Very old hotel that needs major upgrades. We stayed in a small cabin. The shower was so small, you could not turnaround in it without banging into the wall.

The rooms could use a little fixing but overall it's a great value for Catalina! We book a cottage at Hermosa every year and always have a great time. The staff is very friendly, especially Alex at the front desk! He really made us feel welcome and we will be returning again next year:)

we came to Catalina Island for our wedding anniversary, and we had a great time. lots of restaurants to choose from. Chi-Chi Club was a little disappointing. My wife paid 7 bucks to play her song on the juke box, and the song still did not come on and we would have to wait until midnight to play? Nope, so we left and that turned our vide all the way off. other than that, we have a great time.

Very outdated, no elevator so I was braking my back to get up three flights of stairs. Room is very small, didn’t have enough room to even open my full suitcase. The girl who works there was the reason why I liked it, she was so sweet and made me feel comfortable.

If you have problems climbing a lot of stairs, make sure you don’t get a room on the top floor. Besides that the stay was excellent :)

The bed was clean and comfortable and nice refrigerator. Convenient location. The overhead fan was on full blast the whole time and the fan lights were off. Mold on the shower entry. No place to hang clothes and no drawers. I would not stay there again unless it was completely refurbished.

Thank you hermosa hotel for the last min get away, i booked a cottage and everything was great nothing to complain about, if i did have too I would say the AC unit was definitely out dated and loud but it got the job done for the hot cottage and the shower was sooooo tiny. I would rate this place a 8.5/10
