「It was an older property, which adds to its identity, so some areas could do with some TLC. I liked the 12pm check out that makes a change from the usual rushed 11am at most other hotels」

「The property is lovely and has a very traditional English feel which we appreciated, however the entire property lacks any ventilation/airflow - suffice to say there is also no air conditioning - which made the rooms simply insufferable during a heat wave. Recognizing that the climate has changed, management needs to provide at minimum a fan per room to enable some degree of ventilation and air movement during summer months if they expect guests to be able to sleep and enjoy the facilities.」

「Nice hotel in a lovely village. Very comfy bed , bathroom a bit dated but perfectly acceptable. Tasty breakfast and very friendly staff.」

「Disappointing. On arrival to the room, there was a distinct musty smell. Not pleasant and still present after opening the windows. No WiFi in the room. Breakfast was almost non existent. For a pub/hotel that promotes its food service and quality, a couple of boxes of cereal and a few miniature pastries was not what was expected or advised. A cooked choice would be expected (and was advertised)」
