「Lovely modern room in restored old building. Staff were helpful, and both dinner and breakfast in the pub were great.」

「A very comfortable country pub, with great food, top chef and well kept beer. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. My room was a tad small and basic but the bathroom was modern and hey this is a 16th century building and I enjoyed my stay.」

「We stayed at the Fox for 1 night and the staff made us and our dog feel very welcome. The room was beautifully decorated, the bed comfortable and the breakfast delicious. Thank you all at the Fox. We’ll hopefully see you again.」

「Perfect, everything I needed for my short stay」

「Great stay !!」

「The management team is very friendly and helpful but security sense is not sufficient as the cleaning lady forgot to close the windows. If you do not request too high standard of room service, it would be a good choice.」

「住宿是不錯的，但交通條件是差的。必須有私家才好住這裡。」

「I booked two rooms, but the staff could arrange two adjacent rooms for me. One was at 1/F, one at G/F. It sounded non-professioinal service when they did not consider such factors. Totally disappointed.」

「The rooms were simple & comfortable but the check in process was pretty poor. Dinner & breakfast were just about ok but we were rushed out of the breakfast room at 10.10 & asked to leave the hotel asap for the cleaners to start work. Overall I can give this property no more than 3 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️」

「I understand that the building is old, but the smell of mold was overwhelming」

「It was very good」

「Staff were very courteous and attentive. The hotel is dated and needs some TLC. The original building is full of character and additional rooms have been added later. Decor needs to be updated」

「Bedding clean and well built beds and furniture, bad smell of general hotel due to restaurant. Petrol generator underneath our bedroom window led to fumes 😂! otherwise decent stay for the price would recommend if you need a bed to sleep in after the prodigy ;)」
