Rooms are starting to look neglected and no hot water for the duration of our stay. The Turkish Restaurant attached to the hotel is very good though, if a little pricey.

Cheap and cheerful - great if that's what you're looking for: impeccably clean, smoothly run, and Marlon the receptionist is a really nice bloke, couldn't have been more helpful.
The rooms are very big but very old and tired. The beds were very comfortably and the linen was clean and fresh. We only needed to sleep there for the night so all of the above didnt really affect us.
The room was dated but clean with very basic facilities.
However, No mention before booking that the Hotel was having major renovation work, making most of the pictures on the website misleading, it’s a building site including the car park.
Although Tea / Coffee in the room, no breakfast is offered and the nearest shop is a car ride away.
A very tired hotel that would benefit from redecoration.
No breakfast option available.
Nothing around within walking distance.
However, the Turkish Restaurant (not part of the hotel) was well worth a visit.
Do NOT stay here! It was run down, dirty and got eaten so much from mosquitos or bed bugs! The bed was uncomfortable and rock hard. The stairs on the way up to reception were very unstable! Literally bendy!

The room was clean. Bathroom was dated but ok. Staff were friendly and lovely. The main issue is that the hotel does not have a bar or any catering facilities. No vending machines or similar. It looks like the place is on its last legs. The reception looks like a cab office! £75 a night is too much. I would class this as 2* max
Poor accommodation, toilet didn’t flush no towels, shower broken, smelt of dead people. They did move us but standards not great for basics. Won’t be returning
The worst hotel I have ever stayed in.. filthy dirty, run down.. owners/staff seem to find it funny to come in at 4am, talk and laugh loudly all around the hotel.. fly trap full of flies on the velux window from summers gone.. bathroom appauling, not a thread left on the carpet.. blood/bodily fluid splatter up the walls..this hotel should not be allowed to stay open.. I am shocked that Hotels.com have them on their books. They should be shut down permanently.
We arrived late in the evening, no one at reception, our key was given to our friend who arrived earlier in the day which was ok. There was no food or bar open due to renovations taking place. There was no information about this on the website if I had of known we wouldn’t of booked this hotel.
This hotel was terrible, the furniture was worn out, holes in the carpet and stains in the wall. No shower or I should say no holder for shower part. A sticker on the velux window covered in 20 dead flys probably from summer! It was a nightmare . They don’t want to spend money on it just give it cheap and what a disgrace!
02 Sept 2023. Having aving booked to attend a wedding and checked in early to get ready. There was no hot water for a shower. The hot water sink tap did not work. No hair dryer and place was generally dirty, cobwebs etc. The website looks great but in reality it was everything but. Would not recommend nor stay there again.
Avoid at all costs . Absolutely filthy. We had to clean up everywhere with wipes. Toilet flush was broken. Door didnt seem very secure when locked. All doors in hotlel banged and the residents let them bang when entering and leaving rooms. To get in at night you have to go around back of hotel a nd use a code to get in . Again door handle brokers so very hard to get in . What makes it worse . You have to go around the back with Absolutely no lightning and the paths uneven even have a little metal stake sticking out. Very dangerous. HONESTLY AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Only nice thing to say refers to male staff who took my phone call before check-in. He was very polite and helpful. However, that was the only good point!
Bed was old lumpy and uncomfortable. Furniture was tired, which I could cope with if it was clean, this was not the case. The bedroom on its own appeared presentable at first glance. The bathroom was filthy. There was hair in the bath/shower. The shower curtain was filthy - it looked like a curtain from a murder scene. I could not get any warm water. Due to the state of the bathroom I opted for a very quick rinse, in freezing water as far from the taps I could get.
The sink was also filthy, with grime round the plug hole.
The hotel is not manned over night, or in the morning, which is why I could not make this complaint in person.
Not somewhere I would ever recommend someone to stay to stay. Far to expensive for what it is!
We booked the Airman hotel knowing itbwas a budget hotel, we expected it to be basic but not as bad as it was and certainly not as dirty as it was. We arrived on friday afternoon for a one night stay, the outside is very scruffy, long grass old broken benches. We were greeted by a plesant young chap who i initially couldnt find our booking. We were put in room 4 , the hallways were dark and dingy, we opened the door and was greeted by a dim and stuffy room with old damaged furniture but the worst part was the smell of cigaretts. I went to find someonrle to complain as the TV was also broken, they came to the room with a second tv and a can of air freshner!!! We sat there in in what we felt like a dungeon for another hour, looking at dust, stains, scruffy bedding, dirty bathroom and food under the table. We knew we couldnt sleep there it was horrible, we had our dog with us so i had to call round to see if we could find alternative accomodation...we were lucky and left.
We have been given a full refund to be fair to the place.
We didnt expect the ritz but we did expect it to be clean.
This place is disgusting, dirty and OLD. The stairs were filthy and bending. The room we were staying in was like a storage room for spare furniture in the corners, all the furniture was thick with dust and very dated. The pink carpet had never been cleaned with stains EVERYWHERE. The beds were made of wooden structures with all the fabric half ripped off with no headboards with the pillows dusty with hairs on. NOTHING smelt clean and fresh even when entering the room all the windows were open but yet still smelt stale. When looking around even looked for other hotels but nothing available. Definitely not worth £71 not even worth £20. The tv didn’t work and we we’re overlooking the bins and could hear the mice rummaging through them. It didn’t feel secure or comfortable at all and definitely not clean. The photos were taken very carefully to avoid the reality of this horrific hotel. There was no one to complain to as the reception was closed the whole time we were there. The whole place was dirty, dated and uncomfortable. Surely with charging £70 per room some money could atleast go into updating the hotel and cleaning it thoroughly. Stay very clear of this hotel and avoid at all costs.
I'm usually not too fussy when it comes to needing somewhere to just lay out heads for a night but this place was horrendous. Where does one start?
On arrival, it looked like a building site. The reception area was unpleasant, as was the man on reception, so, so miserable. On entering our family room, oh dear, things got worse, the ceiling light was hanging off, the plug socket near the travel sized kettle had a massive hole in it, definitely unsafe to use, the toilet seat was literally hanging off and couldn't be used. The taps spun round when turned on, in the shower, you could have either scalding hot water or cold water, not both at the same time so we decided not to bother in the end. There was filth down the side of the bed nearest the wall, it clearly hadn't been moved for months. The TV didn't work and the "highlight" of our nightmare appeared after dark...rats! I'm not kidding. The noise from them scuttling around outside our window was a thing of nightmares. It was unbelievable. If it had been at all possible, we would have left immediately and headed home right then but we had to wait it out till morning and we left at first light. I seriously urge anyone to avoid this place at all costs. I do have photographs as evidence but unable to submit any.
