「The location of this lodge is amazing, offering a serene setting to enjoy the wildlife of Tanzania when not on safari. The lodge sits on the edge of a marsh and gave us multiple terrace options (including a private one attached to our room) to do some bird watching. Would definitely come back - this was the perfect start to my safari hol as a solo 30yo female traveller :)」

「I stayed at Mount Meru Game Lodge before embarking on a 2-week safari and after 24 hours in the air. It was a wonderful place to unwind and sleep well before the trip. The location was convenient, the staff very friendly and helpful, the price was fair, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and the setting was special having been a former sanctuary for game animals. Also, there was an onsite massage spa which was excellent.」

「Room was very nice. It had hot water!!!! 3 months here and that's gotta be the hottest shower I have had ..the view was exceptional. Getting there wasn't easy but once your there it was very nice. I had some trouble with booking as I accidentally booked the week after but it was fixed. Very good manager. Rooms were very clean and surprisingly cool without air conditioning unit.」
