It is just outside Arusha and so much quieter and clean air, there is a lawn and pool and tables to relax and socialize while taking in a great view of Mt Meru and all the birds. "I found Arusha Giraffe Lodge with traditional room setting, named with traditional names and very helpful staff. Bar and dinning were very good and kitchen staff prepared breakfast with personalised timing to suit your time included.I enjoyed staying in this Lodge."

"It is a no frills hotel but clean with great staff. On check in we were greeted with a refreshing juice. There is a laundry service. Staff are very helpful with luggage to and from room. All staff members we encountered were friendly."

The hotel in our opinion is a little tired and in need of a bit of love / upgrade. It sometimes is colder at nights in Arusha, so having a restaurant outside, doesn't always work. The breakfast room felt a little like a school classroom. For us though the biggest attention should maybe considered in the rooms. Our bed was uncomfortable and we could feel the springs throughout...
