Room and staff were excellent. Got very ill from a meal at Medan, so I wouldn't recommend the food. 45 minute wait for any food orders so they must order it in from somewhere else.

Medan is a nice boutique hotel. I was upgraded to an apartment because all the hotel rooms were booked, and it was quite comfortable, although a slight issue with the power when they forgot to switch me to the generator line after the power went out. Also, the air conditioner in Apt #2 does not work properly. The food in the restaurant could definitely be improved. Nothing very tasty. Very plain and industrial. No imagination. No flavor. Staff is friendly.
