We had a fantastic stay here. It was clean, tidy and very warm and helpful personell working there. We were also able to watch World Cup football match in the bar at the hotel. Thanks for a great stay!

We stayed for a few nights before and after our safari. We generally found the staff friendly, attentive and helpful. The hotel in our opinion is a little tired and in need of a bit of love / upgrade. It sometimes is colder at nights in Arusha, so having a restaurant outside, doesn't always work. The breakfast room felt a little like a school classroom. For us though the biggest attention should maybe considered in the rooms. Our bed was uncomfortable and we could feel the springs throughout the night. The hotel was very noisy during our visit. This may be partly due to its location and some inconsiderate behaviour of other guests, however the doors are noisy in closing and the falls appear fairly thin. On the plus side, Arusha is a perfect location for starting a safari,

Staff were 5 star quality - really impressed that while I was there it was my home - nothing was to big or small to ask. Handy distance from town without being too close. Nice and quiet in the evenings 😊 They even packed a breakfast for me to take to the airport when I left at 0300 😳 Food was great in the restraunt and quick walk to local vendors. Felt safe in the hotel and walking in the local area. Thanks to the whole team for giving such personalised customer care 💜

I stayed here on three separate nights and enjoyed my stay. The front desk was helpful arranging transportation to and from the airport, were extremely friendly and welcoming! The property grounds are well-maintained and the restaurant has vegetarian options as well. I’d definitely stay here again on my next visit to Tanzania!

Okay for one night

We stayed one night at Tulia before starting a safari at the recommendation of our tour company. It was fairly quiet despite being close to the main road, and the front desk staff were welcoming and helpful. The pool was okay, but no service was provided there. The restaurant food and service left a lot to be desired. The rooms were spacious, but had no safe and we struggled to figure out the air conditioning. Overall it was fine for a night, but did not give the peaceful, oasis feeling we expected from the photos.

We stayed for 1 night when we were passing through to Ngorongoro. The staff were lively, special mention to Emmanuel and Flora. Breakfast was lovely omelettes made. Just a bit rough around the edges and as 2 women travelling alone, we didn’t feel comfortable walking out on our own. Others were doing it though.

Generally has a nice vibe and the staff are nice. Was able to store my bag there for a few days. I could hear people talking in both rooms I stayed in. The grounds are nice enough but just outside the gate is a rutted dirt road. Just a short drive off the highway. There's a money changing place and ATM at a nearby gas station.

Understanding that were in Tanzania, if you need a quiet, clean place to stay WITH hot water, I can recommend this hotel. It is an enclave within a market and, for westerners, it may be a little daunting. The staff was super nice, especially Hajida, Emmanuel and Joseph. That said, the restaurant sucks! The pizza was soggy and we had to send it back to be cooked more. Another table ordered pizza, they sent it back and got pasta instead. I asked for a Mediterranean vegetable sandwich as I’m vegetarian… it had chicken in it! As always, the staff was super nice.

Well-priced rooms with all the amenities that a weary traveler could ask for. Breakfast was varied and delicious, the grounds are lovely and it is a very safe environment. The Tulia is an affordable version of the big tourist resorts we used while on safari. We stayed there a total of 5 nights before and after our safari, used their airport transport (safe and efficient), ate many meals in their restaurant, and enjoyed the relaxing, shady and green property. Serves a lot of Americans, but also lots of other international guests, good company to compare travel notes. Staff is warm, friendly, eager to meet individual needs, and speaks plenty of good English,
