Hotel was great, front desk staff were really nice. Area felt mostly safe and the train station is a 3 min walk from it. Although be careful, my friend’s phone got pickpocketed right outside the train station.

Perfectly placed, 3min walk the the main line into Amsterdam or Schiphol. Lots of good take aways in Zaandam, 15mins walk. Great service, clean and comfortable rooms

This was a great option for a cheaper alternative to staying in downtown Amsterdam. Amsterdam was very accessible by train and Zaandam was a very charming town to explore. The staff of the Zaan Hotel were great and welcoming. Our room was very comfortable, spacious, and clean.
