「I was glad our stay at this hotel was only for two days throughout our travel in the Algarve. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. Mattresses were excessively hard and we all woke up with back pain. Definitely something we were not used to. Our check out was a nightmare, unknowledgeable staff who couldn’t do simple math and was adamant we pay a charge twice. There are many beautiful apartments to rent in this area and smaller boutique hotels that I would choose if I ever return.」

「Please note that the hotel is very restrictive and does not allow guests to have visitors. Also, it's on a lane with a lot of clubs and bars, some of which play loud music until 3:00 / 4:00 in the morning. If you are a light sleeper, be mindful of that. 「Honestly I hated my stay here. Every single night we had loud kids partying and yelling all night and they terrorized the rooftop pool during the day. They never answer the phone at the front desk so I had to get out of bed to complain. One night someone drunkenly tried entering our room and the staff actually let them in while I was asleep! It was horrifying! As for the hotel it’s up a huge hill so lots of incline walking. Also a pain trying to call a cab up there. Hotel is very outdated. And...

「Avoid at all costs!. The apartment was not fit for check-in when we arrived and was in an unacceptable state of cleanliness. We were told to return two hours later, but even then it was still being cleaned. As a group of five, we had to find alternative accommodation at additional cost because we couldn’t keep waiting. Despite the hosts knowing we had left, they have refused to refund us. The whole situation could have been handled much better, but instead they have taken no responsibility.」

Checkin was a unconventional Got into accommodation and found friendly but confused cleaner who took me to ALE shop under to check in. Bed comfy and good simple shower but otherwise fairly basic. Coffee machine in kitchen did not seem to work. Interesting use of chipboard in hotel fittings」
