"Location of hotel suited our needs (close to Victoria Coach Station). Being on top of Victoria station (train and subway) made it noisy (sirens, loud vehicles, people giving speeches using speakers. Etc.). I presume most central London hotels have a fair bit of noise. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and efficient. Our "quiet" room was situated such that we had to take 2 elevators to get there. Strange. There was a small amount of mildew in the shower. The cooling/heating was quiet and effective. The Soak restaurant was pretty good. The included breakfast was OK (same offerings both days of our stay). We found the price of eating out in London crazy expensive in general. Loved the heated towel bar in the bathroom. The Hop On/Hop Off bus stop in front of the hotel was convenient for our one-day sightseeing."

"When checked in, the iPad doesn’t work while typed in my information. That is your only way of check in and out, it should have been check daily are they working properly or not. Apart from that room is what you need for a night stay. There only one towel each. Face towel would have been helpful."

"When I first arrived I thought the property was beautiful. They checked me in and offered me a free upgraded room. Then the nightmare, I was given room 522, and before I entered the room I saw bugs flying outside the door. When I went in the room was nice however, after looking around I saw termites on the walls. I called to let the staff know and they said what are termites. I told them to give me another room which they did. The second room was on a different floor and no termites. Next time I will chose the Hilton, hopefully a better experience."

"Great location. Hotel is very dated, needs more plug sockets if nothing else but like going back in time. Very clean. Service not great in any part though."
