「Cute little dormer had everything we needed. Much more than a “room rental.” Owners very helpful and anxious to please. Abundance of info given on surrounding areas and dining. We thoroughly enjoyed all the dining options they recommended. We should have paid more attention to the detail that renters need to climb 3 sets of stairs. We did not have a problem with that (other than ground or second floor would have been easier) or but others may. A good experience for us. 」

「We really love this stay we did upgrade our room to a beachfront which was well worth the money and they didn't price gouges to do it room was clean beds were mid for comfortability but average for most hotels they did have a restaurant attached that had really good food and we're in the middle of building an outside patio and decking which will be really nice when finished beaches were pretty and clean very beautiful stay」

「My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at The Tranquil House Inn in Manteo while we explored the Outer Banks. The rooms and service were great, and the location right on the water in downtown Manteo was perfect. Manteo has a charming downtown that offers plenty of shops and attractions without feeling too touristy. We also really enjoyed the light breakfast offerings each morning and the staff were so friendly and helpful.」
