「The amount I was charged at check-in was more than the amount quoted by hotels.com. The receptionist took the initiatives to explain to me it was due to VAT. Although the increased amount was more than 5%, appreciated the way the receptionist communicated with me. The room quality was OK, but the housekeeping wasn't done on the first day as they said "everyday they clear the room for 1 time, so the check-in date won't get housekeeping service". However, it's true I checked in late at 2PM due...

「Very good hotel. Excellent quality of the rooms! A couple of (very) small things; 1. The Pool is only open between 8am and 4pm, which is a little tight 2. The Shopping Mall is walkable (some hotel staff say it's not) - but you need to be creative/patient with the traffic! 3. This is very close to the final approach of Jeddah Airport - and you will hear planes in the middle of the night. Other than that, it's an excellent hotel and very reasonably priced. 」

「The staff are friendly. However, some of the room is broken and i have left something behind to the hotel and the hotel won't notice their customer for this. More importantly - the fragrance within the room is too strong and i don't think many customers can take this. 」
