What a fantastic stay! Very comfortably fit the four of us- two adults and two kids. The lobby staff were a very international group and so very helpful and warm. The area is perfect- a very short walk to the subway where you can get to Ginza, Shibuya, Shinjuku etc with ease (there’s a loft for strollers around the corner too!). 7-11 across the street was perfect for breakfast every day- smoothies, coffees, pastries and more. The Hei shrine around the corner makes for a lovely stroll and photo...

I loved this little gem of a hotel. The staff is lovely and the hotel is affordable and really clean. The walls are also super thick so you don’t hear the baseball games that might happen across the street. I also loved the location. The street is quiet but metro close and so many places walkable. I’ll certainly stay here again,

This is a fantastic hotel in a great location. The hotel itself is new so everything was pristine and modern. It is a business hotel so expect the rooms to be small - there was enough space to open a couple suitcases on the floor, but we had to keep them closed up most of the time to feel comfortable moving around.
The public bath facility is excellent and a really nice amenity to have. Very clean and nice baths, one indoors and one outdoors with micro bubbles.
You must have the hotel...

Hotel had everything needed and was tucked back in a quiet area of the city. The walk to the train station took just a few minutes and there were restaurants and convenience stores nearby too.
Every amenity needed was provided which was very appreciated, including a refrigerator in the lobby full of water bottles for guests to grab whenever. The breakfast buffet had a nice mix of options from traditional foods to stuff for more western tastes. Despite being unable to have gluten or lactose, I...

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Monterey. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when it came to forwarding our luggage. The rooms were consistently clean and restocked.
Breakfast was a little expensive for us, but luckily the area is very walkable with plenty of conbini and restaurants nearby

I loved this hotel so much! The property was very clean, the staff was friendly and spoke English, and the location was in between popular tourist spots such as Shibuya and Akihabara. It was also on a street with a ton of late-night restaurants, convenience stores, and train stations.

The hotel is in a fun area with LOT'S of dining options. Very short walk to the subway station. A 7 Eleven right next door. I was most impressed with the EXCELLENT staff at the front desk. They made the stay special. I also enjoyed the breakfast which was a bit unusual by American standards but was delicious and healthy. My main negative comment, and it is a big one, is the tiny size of the rooms. I've travelled a lot and don't remember experiencing such a small room and bathroom (even by...

omo was the best! The pictures do not do this hotel justice. This room was such an amazing spot to come back to after a full day of sightseeing. It’s in a business district, so at night it’s a lot of happy hour and corporate people. There are a ton of restaurants in the area with seven-eleven two doors down and the metro are close by. The staff are so kind and we’re so helpful with our luggage, checking in and out and providing us with extra amenities and even local snacks! There’s also a coffee...

I enjoyed my stay here. Very clean and friendly staff who spoke English. They also had a machine to exchange money in the lobby which was convenient. Conveniently located near public transportation but also easy to find if using uber. They had a 24/7 bar and breakfast available. The area was very safe and quiet with plenty of dining options nearby as well as a 7/11 1 min walk away. No complaints. Would stay here again.

Big pluses - washer and dryer at only 300Y, vending machine with beer and canned cocktails, friendly, helpful staff, great coffee machine with latte, any time of day, good breakfast relative to many other 3* hotels (just stayed in six others). Walkable to 3 Metro stations. This hotel is considered 3* but it is close to a 4. (Some towels are ready to be replaced). I stayed an extra night after a tour, and upgraded from a very small single to a reasonable size 'deluxe single', (though it had 2...

I booked this neighborhood on the advice of Reddit posts who noted it's a good central base to explore the different parts of the city, and they were right. I was aware beforehand Akasaka is not a tourist attraction area in its own right.
As for the hotel itself, I really appreciate the hotel staff for fulfilling my special request and always responding promptly to my Expedia messages. In person, they continued to be very helpful and courteous. The room was very clean and sufficiently...

This hotel was by far better than the pictures depicted. Having a washer and dryer in the room was huge. Biggest plus was that the rooms were very spacious and the bed was actually a Queen Size bed. Great location in the business district with lots of food and night light available. Everything is close by - 7/11, family mart, and train station. Looking forward to booking this again next year.

What a fun hotel. Comfortable and convenient. Love the sanitizing machine for coats in your room. They have amenities in the lobby you can help yourself to if you forgot anything like combs and toothbrush and pajamas. The price is also so affordable and a cute Irish pub on the first floor. The lady robot can get a little spruce up on her derpy eye but it’s also charming. Close to multiple subway stations and can get to places easily! Lots of good food and bars and friendly to English speakers...
