「Figured we'd stay in Mayagüez for a night and then head over to some waterfalls in the general area. I don't usually gravitate towards hotel chains, but the island is still on the mend from the storm of '17 and earthquake of '20, and Holiday Inn is doing a pretty good job of presenting well maintained and comfortable properties around the island. Bed was comfortable, room and facilities were in good shape, and it was easy access to grab a bite to eat in town. I'd stay there again.」

「We had high expectations for this resort as we were not able to book the Marriot hotel that is next to Punta Borinquen. Unfortunately, there were roaches in the room every single day and night. The elevator door was super slow opening and closing. Looks like it needs to be recalibrated for a better experience. 「It was not the typical hotel/resort experience but the location, the coziness, the service and the atmosphere was amazing. Very clean room. Bed and pillows were comfortable.
