「Customer service stood out for me. I booked a certain room and initially didn’t get it. The lady at reception (didn’t get her name but she worked 1st Nov) ran around the hotel to sort out the room for me straight away. Room was super clean, quiet and stylish. Had the peaceful weekend I was looking for! 」

「A steady clean hotel away from the hustle of the city centre. The staff were super friendly, special mention to Kiran on the check in desk. The room was tight for space but as it was only a one night stay that was perfectly acceptable. The bed was really comfy. The only thing I would knock it for would be there was a lot of dust around the TV area. The gym area looked neat and tidy, I didn’t use them as I’d used a gym in the city prior to arrival. The restaurant area had a nice feel to it even...

「Hotel room was beautiful. I stayed in a large suite and would highly recommend. My only issue was breakfast. I wasn’t told you had to pre order and pay extra for a cooked breakfast. I would have been happy to do that had I known. They’re supposed to give you a form at reception but it was never mentioned. So I didn’t get breakfast. A shame as that was the only glitch on a lovely stay. 」

「Firstly, the location was great. The Stork is near the M6 and minutes away from downtown Lancaster, yet you feel like you are in the country. We enjoyed a last minute stay at the Stork and feel as though we had found a hidden gem. If the rooms aren't brand new, they certainly appear so. We also had a gastropub style meal at night and a complimentary full English bteakfast in the morning. Both meals were very good. We were most impressed by the staff; all of whom were very friendly, professional...
