"The room was the size of a Cracker Jack box. Not my preference. Bathroom is comparable to a cruise ship bathroom with the tiny vanity and sink outside the bathroom door. It’s just too small to even want to be there for anything but sleeping. Didn’t like literally having to check in myself and making my own key. Won’t stay again."

"I booked this hotel because I had previously stayed at an Arlo property in New York and had a fantastic experience. Unfortunately, this stay was the complete opposite and has seriously changed my opinion of the brand. Before we even checked in, we were offered an early check-in for an additional $75. When we declined, the attitude of the staff noticeably changed. From that point on, the front desk staff were cold, unhelpful, and made us feel like an inconvenience rather than paying guests. There was absolutely no sense of hospitality or welcome. We were given access to the pool while waiting for our room, but the area was shockingly poorly maintained. There were drink cups floating in the pool that appeared to have been left from the previous night, and the entire pool deck looked neglected. Although we didn't use the cabanas, the visible dirt and lack of cleanliness made it clear they weren't being properly maintained either. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was disappointing. It was noisy, lacked any kind of welcoming vibe, and felt more concerned with enforcing rules than ensuring guests had a positive experience. Other guests told us they had been reprimanded for simply wearing their swimsuits through the lobby while quickly running to collect something from the front entrance hardly unreasonable behaviour at a hotel with a pool. For the prices charged, the service and cleanliness were completely unacceptable."

"Room was just okay. Had some maintenance issues. Our toilet was constantly running and handle would get stuck and not flush sometimes. Tub spout was not working properly (leaking). Lights flickered here and there. Overall lighting was very dark. Only good lighting for getting ready was in the bathroom."

"One of our bathrooms was not cleaned all the way. The staff were very kind and helpful except the staff guarding the pool. We weren’t allowed to take our water bottles and had to take them back to our rooms. Only to find out there were may pool goers who had Water bottles with them. The food at the swim bar was overpriced for its product. The staff was kind there as well. We loved our breakfasts staff. Our waiter was fantastic and the food was pretty good there as well. The location was perfect for walking to the pier and to travel to our cruise ship. We would definitely stay here again, just plan our meals differently."
