"There are so many great things about this hotel and one really not great thing. The staff were wonderful, the location was great, the view was beautiful, and our bed was comfortable.
But- and this is a big but for us- the air conditioning is not working properly. Our first room on the 11th floor was 76 degrees and would not go down. We notified the staff who said they’d send someone to fix it- we came back and it was at the same temperature. Then I asked again- they said they’d send someone. After thirty minutes of no one coming, I went down again. He switched our room to a bigger room with a manhattan view but when we entered- it was 78 degrees. Luckily it had a haphazard portable AC that we stuck right next to our face so we were able to sleep but the room itself never cooled down so we left as early as we could in the morning. Reading other more recent reviews- this appears to be an ongoing problem and I wish I had known because I would’ve booked somewhere else (because I hate being hot while I sleep). Just wanted to make sure I shared so others were aware!"
