"I stayed for several nights. The hotel is clean and quiet. The staff are kind. There is a lot of space outside of the small rooms to use for laptops and a convenient change of scenery.
While the rooms and common/shared spaces are clean, I had an issue with the sink. Whenever I used it, water would seep out from the sides of the sink handle. Make sure to wipe it away or it will reach the floor.
The area is nice. I liked the neighborhood. It has many food options. I went to several coffee shops and a pizza place. The L subway is a 10 minute walk from the hotel.
My biggest concern was, I was told that late at night, a security person will check your hotel card to confirm you are lodging with them. However, one night when I arrived back closer to midnight, no one was there to greet me and check my identity. The lobby was empty and dark. This was not a deal breaker for me, as the neighborhood is fine. But, it is something to consider.
Overall, I will book here again. It’s great for solo travelers."
