「First time staying at a La Quinta. I loved that they were dog friendly. Sadly our room had ants. They gave my husband a can of raid to handle the issue himself. That was kind of odd. Then the following morning I needed additional washcloths. There was only one at the desk so the clerk went to get more from laundry. 「The room was clean and comfortable. The AC was off when we arrived and the room was 85 degrees. It was uncomfortable waiting for the room to cool off when all we wanted to do after a long day of traveling was climb into bed. It did eventually cool off. The front desk gal repeatedly reminded us that smoking was prohibited. The hallways leading to the room all smelled like someone was actively smoking. Thankfully our room did not smell like smoke.
