"Beautiful hotel in the heart of Wengen. Rooms were very nice. Some rooms had balconies. No A/C but that’s to be expected. "

"We knew in advance that the hotel was under heavy renovation/construction, but this did not detract much from the stay. The worse (?) was that the panorama of the Eiger N wall from the balcony was somewhat marred by a construction crane (see photo) - not a big deal. We found room to park at the hotel. The breakfast buffet was great. The room is nicely furnished. One small fault: not enough power outlets around and just one USB outlet. And confusing light switches that operate on a delay and take time to master. The price is high, but so are most prices in Grindelwald"

"Lovely hotel, so full of character and history. In a walkable area close to everything. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The mattress was really good. We loved our stay. "
