Isla Grande 3 Stars Hotels

The staff was so kind and happy to help! Every meal we had was great and the drinks were well made. It was very quiet, secluded, and relaxing.

Gorgeous spot on a private beach in Baru, highly recommend for a romantic and quiet getaway. Super attentive staff, beautiful rooms, and the grounds were also lovely. We had the entire place to ourselves for a night!

Staff were mediocre. Island was beautiful! Transportation was a little unsafe. They drop you at the dock without parking the boat. They always seem in a hurry. I recommend to arrange transportation with the hotel not outside boats.

This hotel is great. It's worth the price you pay for it. It met my expectations and goes beyond. The staff is very helpful and nice: Rafa, Leo, Fernanda, Fabiola, etc. The rooms are small but go with the echo friendly concept of the hotel. The delicious breakfast is included and in general, the kitchen or restaurant has a variety of dishes. The only dark spot is a nearby hooter making noise around 4:30 a.m. that could disrupts your rest and causes stress. After complaining to the management...

Wendy is a gem and was very helpful. We were the only ones at the resort and had a peaceful time.

We stayed at Casa Rosario from Sunday to Thursday, and I can’t even put into words how much I enjoyed the place. The staff there were absolutely amazing. The young girls were so kind and even helped me with my Spanish, which isn’t very strong. I truly loved every single moment I spent there. Thank you for such a beautiful and unforgettable experience!

Hey if your Loooking for tranquility ,great hospitality and a place to enjoy family and friends. I highly recommend! My daughter and I did 3 nights in December 2024… very safe, great diving,a village just a 20 minute walk 10 minute bike ride ( thanks Simon!) .. very memorable with blue waters, great food and drinks. We. Will be back. Thanks to everybody at Planet Dive( on premise dive shop). The staff amazing! Note …boat ride from Cartagena very convenient..take the day or go to here .....

We arrived at the hotel and it was pouring; yet two bell boys quickly ran over with umbrellas to help with our luggage. The front desk gave us a very warm and friendly welcome. We were even given a welcome fruit juice while we waited to be checked in. Delicious! Rooms are not as small as you’d expect them to be based on the photos and the beds have memory foam pillows, showers have great water pressure, and nice decor all around. The decor is sophisticated and modern with big flat screen smart...

Great seafood menu

Picture perfect. Small, beautiful, excellent staff, and great food. The room was exactly as expected with bonus that it had AC (early 20th century French Caribbean building is a lot to expect). Just what i wanted. Highly recommended.

Beautiful place excellent service

Spots around Cartagena tend to be touristed in a so-crowded-you-can't-see-the-beach way which is especially why we adored this lovely hotel. It's lively during the day (which makes things interesting and fun with all sorts of different nationalities and hip locals), and beautifully tranquil at night. But even on a busy day, there may be only 10 people at the beach. Ample chaises and inventive seating (hammocks, giant lounges) around the pool are reserved for you. The room we had (Papaya) was...

First I am going to say 10/10 for a truly unique experience. The village is a real oasis to escape and reset from the everyday grind. It was exactly what I was looking for. The staff that work there are the stars of the show! We felt safe, well cared for even during a night when nature had other plans. The property was beautiful and well maintained but please bring mosquito spray, I would suggest the skin so soft brand worked like a charm for me (iykyk). The food was chef’s kiss, Tia prepared...

As a first time to Columbia traveler safety was a huge concern, I never felt more safe than when I was here. The kitchen staff made me feel at home. Look for Jimmy he is always smiling and willing to help. The front desk is very accommodating. As an English speaker with limited Spanish the front desk always found a way to make it work. The views from hotel are amazing. At the end of the day sitting by the pool and talking with other guest was a tradition and a great way to plan what to do...

My boyfriend and I came here for two nights during the Christmas holiday. It’s an amazing place with beautiful facilities, nice lodging and helpful staff. We stayed in once of the huts which had an outdoor shower and also AC (much appreciated in Cartagena). We were assigned a table/daybed by the beach which was amazing (these are usually reserved for groups of 6). We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing by the sea. Food and drinks were reasonably priced, more so than anticipated, and drinks were great....

The place is beautiful, nice private beach area, calm water. Lots of wild life, staff is great and willing to help. It was mostly local tourism the days we were there. The place is very expansive, lots of walking and no elevators, wouldn't work for older people or parents with small children on strollers. Cartagena traffic is crazy, don't even think about renting a car. The last 6 km are on a dirt road which turns really bad when it rains. The entertainment team is very busy, lots of activities.

I really loved this stay! The island was very nice, I loved being able to immerse myself in nature. I saw wild parrots too! The island is very walkable, and there is a little store next door with sodas and chips, which we enjoyed. The room was very spacious and we enjoyed the outdoor hammock. The dogs were super friendly and so were the cats! The fan was enough to keep us cool, and the shower was great for if you get hot. Check-in was smooth and we were offered a place to store our luggage at...

This beach is amazing & this is one of the nicest places here. Wi-Fi works well. The food is great & everyone who works here is really fun & friendly. No problem finding staff around when you need something (except in the middle of the night there is only a night watch person but no supplies or drinks or anything). This section of the beach is nice as well because it is pretty centrally located yet not as raucous as some other areas either with families during the day or parties at night.

If you want an island experience this is the place I loved it no TV's just outside fun the staff was super friendly we ate together and played dominos together. Erika helped me with anything and everything I needed she got me picked up from the airport and dropped off at my first hotel then handled the rides and boat to the island. I decided to pickup a second day and didn't regret it. I ate fresh crab fresh lobster fresh from the water at the cheapest price I've ever seen. Diego was super...
