"We had a wonderful experience at Homewood Suites by Hilton Charlotte Uptown First Ward. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Check-in was smooth, and the front desk team made us feel right at home. Our suite was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The full kitchen was a great bonus, especially for longer visits. The bed was cozy, and we appreciated having a separate living area to relax after exploring the city. The complimentary breakfast each morning was fresh and filling, with a nice variety of options. We also enjoyed the evening social hour and the onsite bar—great atmosphere and service! Location-wise, you can’t beat it. The hotel is right in the heart of Uptown, just a short walk from restaurants, parks, the light rail, and entertainment venues. It felt safe and convenient for getting around without needing to drive."

"I had never heard of nor stayed in a Sonesta. Other hotels in the area were very expensive so I took a chance on Sonesta. It exceeded my expectations. While not luxurious, it is very nice, clean, well run and good value for the cost. I will look to use the brand again in the future. "

"The property was very clean and the houses are very well maintained. The swimming pool was not operational. The road into the property is horrible they need to work on paving the entrance. The check in didn't go well we arrived after 5:30 pm and the office was closed and there was some difficulties getting checked in but eventually they got it straight. The views to the lake are beautiful very serene. I highly recommend this place. For the cosst it is hard to beat. The pros out weigh the cons."
