"The motel was basic but charming e.g. benches were provided outside each room, and outdoor tables and chairs were provided in a pleasant patio where guests ate takeaway food. There was an excellent restaurant nearby for breakfast and dinner. Hope has a lively centre with cafes and shops and a beautiful park with tall, native conifers. There's also a park running along the wide river with spectacular views of the mountains,"

"The property appears to have been recently renovated. The room was comfortable and so was the bed. We were on the ground floor and could clearly hear the people upstairs dropping things -shoes, suitcases- which is pretty common for older buildings. The hotel is very convenient to everything and is directly across from the memorial park and the majestic old trees."
