"The rooms were very large and ours had a real fireplace in it. Microwave and small refrigerator in each room was nice. Taos doesn’t get much rain but the monsoons hit while we were there. We woke up to find a large puddle in our bathroom area floor. It was our departure day so I don’t know if it was fixed. Breakfast each morning was great! Chips and salsa each afternoon as well as cookies. Overall, a good stay but the place could use a little sprucing up. The bed was very comfortable. It was possible to walk into town from this hotel. We didn’t use the pool but it looked clean and well cared for."

"Everything about the Desert Flower experience is top notch. The room was beautifully remodeled & cozy, with a nice sitting space. Great bed. Super clean. The grounds are delightful too. Many have commented on the owner-prepared breakfast (4 items on the menu when we were there). Unless it is an emergency, make the time to enjoy it; it will be one of the best meals of your trip. Only 7 rooms - book early!"
