"Beware non-Muslim guests! This is a dry hotel, and apparently consumption of alcohol is prohibited anywhere on the property. This was not disclosed prior, which is unacceptable!
We were a couple staying one night only. We had the suite with a balcony on the 3rd floor. Booked through Expedia. The room is spacious and well presented. Good view over the river. Breakfast was excellent.

"The room was clean and comfortable but the only let down was the AC unit didn't work but there had been a power outage during our stay so not sure if related or not. Staff very friendly and welcoming and attentive, would stay here again."

We enjoyed our stay here. The only thing that was disappointing was… I thought breakfast was included. It wasn’t until I went to check out that I found out it wasn’t when an additional $30.00 USD was charged to my credit card.

On the plus side, it's a beautifully situated property, very nicely decorated, with tasty breakfast and good, caring service with a smile.
On the minus side, there is no noise insulation in the room at all, you will get very loud environmental noises leech into the room from outside all day and night. Luckily I brought earplugs so I wasn't bothered that much. There was a good amount of spider webs around the A/C and one live but small roach on the towel rack.
Overall it was a pleasant stay,...

Just an excellent, excellent stay from start to finish in this historic Colonial building. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and the team really just was top notch and really cared about quality of food. The loft was a hit with the kids and the fine correction of loose tea was very much appreciated. We only stayed one night due to our itinerary, but would have loved to have stayed longer. The kids dipped their legs in the pool, but also didn't have the chance to swim due to time constraints....

Besides the long steps up to our room, this was a very pleasant stay for my sisters and I. The owner was very nice and welcomed us. The property has such a beautiful view. The property itself is very cozy sitting on a hill. Every morning breakfast is served, fresh eggs, delicious toast, juice and tea. The owner's son was very friendly and engaged in a fun conversation in our room, very nice family. We stayed in the apartment that made us feel right at home. Thankyou for the great hospitality! I...

We are a Sri Lankan-American family, and we vacationed in Sri Lanka during the summer of 2024. From the moment we booked with The Radh Hotel, we knew we would love our stay. This hotel was one of the nicest ones we had in Sri Lanka and it was at a good price too! Totally worth the money, clean and modern. Speedy wifi and A/C.
Funny, very helpful and polite staff too!
It's a bit far off the city center but still walkable (20 mins).
