「The camper room wreaked of a horrible smell and fume which within 20 mins caused my girlfriend to constantly cough and gag then within an hour or two both of us had headaches and needed ventilation and outdoor air. They tried to accommodate us with another camper but by then we both felt extremely nauseated and refused to stay. On top of that I was told I couldn’t get a refund. 」

「The room was nasty, roaches all over the desk and tv console & the bathroom as well. The only reason we stayed is because we had no car to leave. We barely slept & kept waking up to kill roaches. We kept our clothes and toiletries in our suitcases. The shower was full of previous guest hair and moldy. The excuse from the front desk was that this room had been blocked and they gave it to us anyway. Unacceptable!!! We did like the restaurant staff, food was ok views were nice from that area. 」

「Rooms were not as advertised. King studio with kitchen has solar hot water so mornings and cloudy days, you will not get hot water. The pool definitely left something to be desired. We did not see it cleaned while we were there. Hotel unfortunately had a very run down feeling but has huge potential. Great location. Great staff. Rooms were cleaned well but not every day. We would still return but choose a different room. The location is the best part. 」

「The beach view was good, there were a few stray dogs and constantly being asked to buy things. The room was outdated and the television did not work. The bed was extremely hard and bathroom was small, the shower filled up with water during my shower and would overflow. 」

「Kibayo made me remember the times I use to stay in my grandparents country side in the Dominican Republic, Ramona was the best service and the young lady after Ramona I forgot her name . But Kibayo is a place to relax and if you want to experience the quitenes and nature and fun activities Kibayo is it. The owner tia I i believe was his name and macho were very nice too very heart warming.」

「Pro's: gutes Gym, großzügige Poolanlage, direkte Lage im Zentrum bzw am Strand mit privatem Strandzugang. Con's: bei 'Room only' zahlt man die Zimmerreinigung und den Handtuchwechsel extra, diese Buchungsart sollte von Expedia transparenter gestaltet sein. Hatte eine Ameisenplage und musste das Zimmer wechseln. Personal (bis auf den Rezeptionisten und einen Pagen am Abreisetag, die waren top) unfreundlich, man wurde nicht gegrüßt, bei der Anreise nachts durfte ich mein Gepäck selber in den 3....

「Excelente ubicación para los amantes del kite, de playas sin tantas personas, con oleaje fuerte pero disfrutable. Estadía acorde con el precio, atención en recepción el día completo, staff muy servicial.」

「It was our 2nd stay in 3 months. It was just as wonderful the 2nd time. We absolutely love staying here. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. It’s only a 10 min walk to the grocery store, a 1 km walk on the beach to all the fun little restaurants and beach bars on Cabarete Beach and about the same in the other direction to Kite Beach. 」

「Within the first 24hr of our stay, we experienced a number of issues which ultimately resulted in us leaving after one night (booked for 4 nights). - the day before checking in, we received a message stating that the property was trying to charge our card for the whole booking even though we had already booked and paid in full through Expedia. 「Room was very spacious with a separate kitchen/dining, living room and bedroom. The amenities are great too - an amazing gym, lap pool and a rooftop restaurant! Nice short walk to the beach. Perfect location for a surfing holiday and reasonably priced. 」
