「This property is amazing. When we pulled in I thought the buildings exterior looked dated. But Karen checked us in, showed us where our room was, showed us the closest parking and access door to our room. She was very accommodating. First, every little nook is an art gallery. Wonderful mountain pieces right down to the live edge wood trim in the hallways and in the room. Our room was cleaner than any of the large chain hotels I have stayed in. 「Mick—at the front desk— is a a true gift. A super ambassador for the property and for Salida. (My wife and I sat in the lobby two nights playing cards.) Mick made everyone feel welcome throughout. There are some WiFi issues that the owners need to work on. Otherwise, this is our favorite place to stay in Salida.」

「We have stayed here 2 yr in a row. The lack of ice machine is the only thing to complain about. It's always clean, walking distance to coffee shop, restaraunt, etc. Not but 2 mi from Safeway. We like staying here. 」

「On the main St so getting around was easy. Room was excellent. As a couple with phones, oxygen, and 2 cpap machines we were pleasantly surprised to find many surge protectors, so plugging in was easy. 」

「We had one of the 2 bedroom cottages. The space was perfect. The room was very clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable.! Plenty of pillows. We could park right in front of our room. We used the pool which was clean and had an outdoor changing room. We were able to have our dogs there. There was a dog park off the property, but nearby. We would definitely stay here again.」

「The environment and staff were excellent! The only downside was that after spending one night, my allergic rhinitis got really bad, which happens when the bedding isn’t clean enough.」
