「The front desk staff, Jimmy, at the hotel is very friendly and professional. The rooms have been renovated and are beautiful, with a great view outside the window. The location is convenient, as it is very close to Westquay, the largest shopping mall in Southampton. And to top it off, the room rate is already very affordable, and they even include breakfast. It's truly perfect!」

It’s walking distance to the main historic sites, shopping, restaurants, and bars, and even the cruise terminals aren’t that far away. The breakfast buffet had a wide and tasty selection but the layout was a bit scattered. It got congested around the coffee machine.」

「My bedroom was small and an interior, windowless bathroom made it rather airless and cramped. The room was very clean and had thoughtful homely touches. Most of the staff were polite and pleasant and the property is beautifully located within the New Forest」

「This is our 5th stay pre cruise at the Doubletree Hilton, all very clean and service very good. Easy check in. Comfortable clean rooms, this time we stayed half board and evening meal was excellent value for money. Breakfast was good. Do think car parking should be free though for guests staying at the hotel overnight.」

「Amazing hotel and spa and have been a number of times. Stayed for two nights and had an amazing spa day with two treatments. Decided to upgrade to a superior garden twin room which was adequate but if I was being extra picky there are a couple of observations that would have improved the room itself. There was no safe or full length mirror and the wardrobe and draw space were tiny also there was nowhere to sit in front of a mirror to apply makeup and dry our hair. I want to emphasise non of this...

「We booked one of the suites with the hot tub. While it was a luxurious experience, the bathrooms needed a bit of renovation and care. You could still hear neighbours and staff cleaning rooms next door, which is annoying if you want to have a nap. Lovely surroundings. Main restaurant ok-ish. I wished they didn’t put so much sugar in all the dishes. Only the dover sole escaped the sugar and was delicious. I think the place is overpriced for the comfort and service, like a lot of places in UK. If...
