"Hotel was so convenient-across the street from Kyoto Station and walking distance from many shopping and dining options. Kyoto Aquarium was also a quick walk. The rooms were spacious and clean. The beds and pillows were top notch-everyone in my family thought so and we usually disagree on bedding and pillows. The buffet breakfast was amazing, including a full western and traditional Japanese offering. Well worth upgrading room package to enjoy the buffet every day. "

The only downside was that the train station was a bit of a walk in a crowded area in the afternoon with luggage. It was fine for morning departure. "It was in the perfect location- although I must say, for whatever reason, taxis and Ubers would not drop off at the hotel instead the hotel down the block. The room was as authentic as the photos. The amenities were above and beyond. Thank you for being super helpful, and accommodating on our trip. Will definitely come back to stay at Hotel Resol in future if in Kyoto!"
