"We stayed at 2 other hotels in Japan and this our favorite. The room and the hotel itself was absolutely beautiful and very clean. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. The hotel is conveniently located next to a grocery store. The hotel amenities included a snack/drink bar, coin laundry, and a public bath (super clean). The only downside was the size of the room but that's a given in Japan hotel. Still enough space to get around. Would 10000 percent stay here again. "

It was further from all the places we want to explore in Kyoto but it was conveniently located next to Kyoto station so it was still a great location to be able to catch a train around the city to explore. "Accessible from Kyoto Station, with about 8mins walk. Opposite the hotel is a teppan izakaya style restaurant, which the hotel is able to make the reservation for us in advance. The restaurant is excellent! Room is clean and spacious, ideal for young families. The staffs were all friendly. On check out day, I forgot that I left my passport in the hotel room safe, they were able to retrieve it and safekeep it till I am there to get it back. "
