"We would give 10 stars if this website let us! The staff was absolutely amazing, starting from a personalized greeting, warm welcome, and tour of the property. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. The estate itself is the most beautiful property, with lush greenery and fairytale-like ambience. The dining options were phenomenal as well. We will most definitely be back!! "

"Great comma and warm welcome when we arrived. The place is well maintained and outside manicured. Mary was helpful throughout our stay. Our suite had fantastic vista with private balcony with furniture to sit out comfortably. Bed, pillows were soft and comfortable. Room clean as was the bathroom / shower. Breakfast was continental with variety of cooked eggs. Tasty. It was a bit of a walk to the town but after a few trips was invigorating. It takes 18 minutes. "

"Lovely property with gorgeous views well located from Florence and surrounding areas. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in our room, which was immaculately clean, and the breakfast was good too. However we were hugely disappointed by the pools which were way too cold, including the spa pool which didn't even work properly either. Also at this price bracket we would have expected drinking water, tea bags and shower caps etc. to be replenished daily in the rooms which they weren't. "

"This was our second visit to Castello Vicchiomaggio but the first overnight there. It's a beautiful historic property that is maintained impeccably. Our room was perfect in every way. We stayed in a junior suite. It was extremely spacious with a separate living room. The decor was very tasteful and the linens were luxurious. The bathroom was spacious with great water pressure. The bath products supplied smelled lovely. The food at the main castle, for breakfast, lunch and dinner, was excellent....
