"The customer service was excellent. I asked if they know where I can get hot water and they gave me kettle. Also the place is very clean and near every shopping center. The parking is bit expensive, about $50 a night but understandable since we stayed in the city. "

"The Clift Royal Sonesta was a fabulous hotel! The staff were friendly from check-in to check-out, and our room was lovely and comfortable. We enjoyed the drinks and appetizers at the Redwood Room, as well as breakfast at Frederick’s. It was located close to Union Square, many restaurants and the stops for the Big Bus tour. I would stay here again!"

"Very friendly and polite staff beautiful lobby The room was small and the closet almost non existent The bathroom was a walk in shower type and the water would flood the floor as the divider that was in place to hold the shower water in was only covering half of the shower area For the same amount of money one could get a much bigger room ( Marriott across the street) with better amenities too"

"We stayed in an executive suite which was a bit dated and dusty. Staff was great, very helpful and always available. My only complaint is the elevators. There are 6 yet seemed as if only two worked at a time. Resulted in a long wait with no access to stairs. The good outweighs the bad, I’ll definitely stay here again "

"If you are not here for a Giants game or ball park event you may be surprised by all the traffic during h these events and the loud parties that are sometimes on the rooftop patio. Otherwise stay was excellent! "

"There was poop on the sidewalk outside the property. There were only 2 people at the front desk checking in guests. The man that checked us in was so helpful and friendly I didn’t get his name but he was helpful in getting us a room more of our liking as we had initially requested a room above the 35th floor and the one that was reserved for us was the 26th floor which would have been miserable. He checked the system and was able to put us on the 37th floor!!! We stay here often"
