「We had a lovely stay at Hythe Imperial. Our experience largely positive. Staff very friendly. Our room however was like a sauna, with scalding hot radiators in June that you cannot turn down/off. Breakfast very basic and cold. Definitely not worth the extra £17 each. Take the 10 minute walk into town if you can. Food in the restaurant was nice but slightly overpriced. Will probably return but during winter when rates are a bit cheaper.」

「Beautiful location, very relaxing and a step back into history at the same time. Only real criticism was that the bathroom windows would not close properly as they were clearly written and in need of repair. As regards Champneys, nice facility, however, clearly getting tired with plaster falling off adjacent to the sauna and the showers in need of an update. The staff were all very helpful and always on hand. 」

「it is in the old town center and just next to the main attractive points like cathedral. as it is a building over 500 years old, so no lift but wooden stairs only (but this is the reason i stay here). Shared toilet and bathroom is good (and you can enjoy the cathedral view when you are "relaxing"). 」

「We spend a good time in this hotel. Room is clean and tidy. Comfortable bed. Bath water smoothy. They also serve good breakfast。We arrived after ten at night and the front desk waited us patiently.Just 10 minutes walking to the old town.Free parking is a surplus.The restaurant in town they recommended is tasteful. Recommend to all. 」
