「Very friendly, helpful staff throughout. Good location close to centre of Chester. Very comfortable bed although room (320) could do with a refresh. Very happy with our stay.」

「Good location, grounds and facilities. But for the price and a 5* hotel they were a few niggles such as the bathroom needed some bleach around the shower and sink plug hole ect. For the luxury they're advetising deep cleaning should be an obvious but didnt looked like it had been done. And masses of cobwebs around the doors to get into rooms. 」

The breakfast was perfect, our stay perfect and I would come again. We only had 4 teabags in the room so had to buy some the second day but its hardly a big issue. Amazing hotel, friendly staff and fabulous break...thank you. It was appreciated. 」

「Moxy is a very cool hotel with a friendly approach! We found that last time we stayed in moxy Chester the staff gave us more information about the town / etc ! Which was really nice! We paid for the breakfast and decided to have it later to avoid the business people, however they stop refilling some items… it is our 3rd time here ! And we really like the town & the hotel !! The location is great & friendly staff & comfortable room’s modern & minimalist! We love it! 」

「A pleasant stay in the town centre. The hotel is comfortable and well located - a few minutes walk to the river, walls and cafes. The breakfast was offered at a discount if you book with reception the day before. It includes a hot English breakfast and the usual continental items.」

「I visited this hotel with my mum. I stayed in a twin room and got a lovely view of the race course. All staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel has a good car park on site, is close to the city and I’ll happily visit this hotel again. 」

「Great location and great breakfast. But, the room was very noisy! (Room no.8) Thumping music from about 3 until 10/11pm - could hear every word of every song! And the drainage system in the shower is clearly not fit for purpose! Again, excessively loud gurgling whenever any other room used their shower/toilet. 」
