Strange that, with the cost of the room, there was a charge for water in the rooms. A very old-fashioned way of managing your customers, but a good hotel otherwise. Staff were excellent.

We had a lovely stay, breakfast was brilliant. The room needed attention as several things needing to repaired or replaced. Also simple things need changing for example the television is too low to view from the bed, this is only something little but would be very easy to resolve. Lovely staff and a great location.

Even though the hotel is near a busy ring road, it was very quiet. There is a lovely view from the upper level restaurant and the location itself is very handy for both the main town and a leisurely river walk. We enjoyed our 3 night stay and had a great meal at a nearby pub only 3 minutes walk away.
