「The location is good as it is directly linked to the mall. The overall service is average in all areas except the restaurant! You will get angry at the early morning during queuing up for the breakfast buffet. The receptionists (one tall & thin and the other is a bit fat) of the restaurant are always in very bad temper and not polite. We have stayed here for 6 days and observed that they have made all different countries guests get angry before settling down the table. I think they are not...

「location wise, It's not exactly at the waterfront area, however, it's still well connect with the most pleasant area in Cape Town. I think the complimentary shuttle boat make the difference. We had a mountain view double room, which is quite amazing. We can see the table mountain directly from our window. The parking is quite nice, however, there's an extra fee on it. The stuffs are nice, still lack of experience. In general, I'd stay here again if I had the chance to visit the city again.」

「If you’re looking to stay in the centre of Cape Town, at a 5 star hotel with amazing spa technicians, look no further. The staff were so friendly and courteous, the rooms were wonderful and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Green market is a stroll away, the Water Shed and Water Front are just a short Uber Drive away (Willoughby & Co sushi is a must!) We had views of Table Mountain and Lion’s Head - the views were spectacular. Highly recommend. 」

「The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bath needed maintenance and staff responded quickly. The hand and bath lotions need to be fixed properly as they were inconvenient to use. Overall our stay at the hotel was a great experience and will come back if our plans are to come to Cape Town again sometime in future.」

「My sister and I stayed here for 6 nights on a recent trip to Cape Town and generally enjoyed our stay. We arranged an airport pick up through the hotel and he was largely on time for our arrival. The price did change at the last minute though and when I asked why, multiple times, no one at the hotel would give me an answer. The room itself was good, very spacious. The shower was over a tub which was fine provided no mobility issues. Ours did leak a bit so we'd end up with some water pooling...

「Loved our stay at The Marly. Quirky hotel with a lovely rooftop pool and bar for guests in a fantastic location central to everything in Camps Bay. Perfect place to watch the sun set. All staff were so friendly and accommodating in the hotel, bar and restaurants. The spa is a must and one of the best massages ever. Look forward to returning in the not too distant future. 」

「住了三个晚上，非常舒适。酒店服务员很热情服务态度比我之前住的喜来登好很多。 附近很安全，正门口就是警察局。是我们在南非晚上出来闲逛不用担心的地方。 这里毕竟是开普敦富人区，管理的很好。 酒店背靠十二门徒峰，右边可以看到狮子头山。酒店出口第一个交叉口上山5分钟就能到桌山。 小遗憾就是，虽然冰箱天天免费提供吃喝的但早餐得自己做哈，而且天天一样的早餐有点郁闷。」

「Ellerman house is a very special place. The location is spectacular, their art collection the clear result of a lifelong passion, the food is excellent, and the service impeccable without being overbearing or pretentious. I suspect there are few if any better places for sundowners than their terrace.」
