「Beautiful historic hotel sensibly and chicly updated. Staff very attentive. Our suite was quite comfortable..terrific bed and lovely bath including charming decor and sitting area. 「To be honest we were actually dreading this stopover as 3 days prior to this stop we had the misfortune of staying at Niort Ibis Hotel which really you shouldn’t be plugging! ( report explains everything that was wrong). So to be late off the ferry, like several others and greeted so well, the lass in charge couldn’t do enough for us. I believe she got the chef to do a little extra time so we were able to eat. Marvellous.」
