「Wonderful food and service. The spa was amazing! They had some fun activities as well. The downside is the beach is small and rocky and the surf break was crowded. They also did not have a hot tub on the entire resort. The room plunge pools are cold water.」

「Stayed at Riu Vallarta for 4 days as part of a 12 day trip in Puerto Vallarta (stayed at the Riu Jalisco for the other 8 days). Vallarta is a step up from the Jalisco in almost every way. Property is closer to the beach so it is not a long walk from your room to the beach. Crowds weren't too bad but you did have to get up early to claim a chair near the pools. Food options are good with a buffet and 4 restaurants. Biggest complaint I would have would be with the room refrigerator restock. We...
