We had a fantastic stay and truly enjoyed every moment. Our private suite with its own pool was incredible, offering both comfort and privacy. The service was impeccable throughout, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were warm and attentive. The spa was absolutely wonderful and added to the overall relaxing experience. Highly recommended!

Bandara was everything we were looking for for our family holiday with a 13 and 9 year old. Great facilities, a pool we lived in, a kids club they both enjoyed and made them feel independent, and a fantastic location on the beach and edge of Fisherman’s Village. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I was also easily able to arrange a pick up from the airport which made arriving to the island very easy with kids. We couldn’t recommend Bandara high enough if you are looking for a family resort in the Bophut area of Koh Samui.

Garrya Tongsai Bay Koh Samui is a hidden gem surrounded by lush tropical gardens and vegetation. From the moment we arrived, we were drawn to the resort's peaceful atmosphere. We were welcomed with a refreshing drink and cookies, which was a nice touch. Our room near the main pool area was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the bathroom was equally large and well maintained. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. The breakfast was good, although the selection was not as extensive as at some other resorts we have visited. The highlights for us were the egg station and the fresh fruit station. One drawback was that the breakfast area is not air-conditioned. Despite the fans placed throughout the restaurant, it felt quite hot during breakfast. We tried the restaurant on site. The food was amazing. It was very tasty and beautifuly presented. The beach was nice and clean, with soft golden sand and complimentary kayaks available for guests. While the beach was very pleasant, the water was not particularly clear during our stay. What we liked most about the resort was its overall ambiance. It is quiet and secluded, with fragrant frangipani trees and beautiful tropical flowers throughout the property. Overall, Garrya Tongsai Bay Koh Samui is a great choice for those seeking relaxation, nature, and tranquility. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful beach stay in Koh Samui.

Positives: 1) Location is good, next to high end properties. 2) the layout of the hotel is really nice, with lots of greenery, nice lobby and amenities, and spacious rooms. 3) The staff were very helpful and friendly. Responded well to calls and requests. 4) the breakfast is amazing. Lots of high quality items. They have healthy and gluten free options too. Negatives: 1) Whilst Location is good, it has nothing within walkable distance. Others were closer to the shopping areas. You can hear flights over the resort. 2) We were supposed to get 2 single beds for our boys, but got one sofa bed for 2, which wasn't a comfortable one. 3) the AC in the living room wasn't cooling. We had the technicians visiting twice but didn't really fix the issue. 4) the swimming beach is poorly maintained. We hit rocks and sea plants everywhere. No guests could swim. 5) the gym is average. Not a 5* resort standard.
