Tomoga Island Kid friendly Vacations

The hotel is a bit underwhelming. I still do not understand why it is rated so highly on Expedia. It feels more like an okay apartment (nothing fancy) than a hotel. The bed covers were stained with what looked like blood, and they had to move me to a different room. The AC was very loud, and I had to use air plugs to sleep (it is very warm in Kyoto in the summer, so sleeping without AC was not an option). Also, the windows are blurred, so you do not get any view. The location is okay, as it is not far from Kyoto station. Some nice things, the place might be ideal if you are traveling in a large group (my room had two queen beds and a sofa that could transform into a third bed). It also had a four persons dinning table, a properly sized fridge and freezer, a microwave and a washing machine, so it may also be ideal for long stays.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location for exploring Osaka. It is 10 minutes from Namba station, 2 minute walk to the heart of Dotonbori. The rooms are great, very clean and spacious. We found the beds really comfortable and the facilities great. Breakfast was superb with an excellent selection available. The staff are amazing, they are all very friendly and helpful.

This was the perfect location to stay for our trip to Osaka. The room was spacious and clean. It was right across the street and in front of the 2 different transit lines making it very easy to get places. There was lots of great food on the street behind Noda station and having the Laswons/7 Eleven/Family Mart right there was perfect for travelling with kids and their snack needs. There is a grocery store close as well.

Rooms were large and spacious. Some staff was friendly. Most of the hotel is outdated. Rooms are clean but very old and need major updates. Gym is old and staff is not that friendly. Pool is an additional fee and if you want a chair on the pool deck that’s even more. I spent 8000 yen for one day at the pool! Check in staff turned us away because we arrived 10 minutes early. Location is nice and central to trains and some decent spots within walking distance. Restaurants in hotel were overpriced especially for the quality of food offered. Got the feeling they weren’t to happy to have non Japanese speaking tourists around.

Very clean and professional looking place. Rooms were comfortable but a bit smaller than I thought, not a whole lot of space for luggage but everything else was sound and they provided extra things like toothbrushes which was really nice
