St. Thomas and St. John Beach Vacations

Gorgeous view! Great seaside restaurant! Perfect location to beach, food and drinks! Highly recommend!

Pros- Check in was easy/fast. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Resort was beautiful and clean. Restaurants had good food and coffee shop was also a convenience store/gift shop, it was well stocked. All male staff members of every department were very friendly, professional and went out of their way to be pleasant and helpful. Cons- The resort was clearly understaffed. Service was extremely slow throughout the entire week we spent there. Tried calling for room service and they kept telling us to call back bc no one was there. We called 3x for body wash, as it was empty, and it took a day and a half to get some. The room was done by housekeeping but they only made the bed and didn’t replace sheets w clean ones. It wasn’t wiped down either. There were never any clean beach towels. For our entire week there, we were only able to get clean beach towels ONCE. We had to reuse them over and over. There was absolutely no sense of urgency to provide any customer service in any department. Everything took an extremely long time, much of our time at the resort was wasted waiting. ALL FEMALE STAFF, w the exception of a few at the lobby bar and adult pool bar, were clearly unhappy to be working there, unfriendly, stared at you w irritated looks and ignored you. Many other ppl we spoke w mentioned it as well. There are many cats living on the property, if they allow them to live there, they should feed them. They were all very malnourished and some injured. So sad.

The location and facilities are good. Clean rooms, friendly staff, beautiful surrounding tropical nature and atmosphere. Great for snorkeling. Pools open 24/7. Lots of cool plants and wildlife directly onsite. One drawback is the very high pricing, it is quite expensive to do some extra activities like a boat trip or just to eat. There is an excellent Pizza place that delivers for reasonable cost to the lobby which mitigates this somewhat, but not a solution for every night. It is still overall good but I cannot attest a reasonable value for money ratio (hence only 4/5 rating).
