Family friendly. Restaurants, shops, beach are all walkable. The ocean views from our suite were amazing! Loved the washer and dryer in our 2 bedroom suite. Highly recommend.

Lovely updated property. Clean pool areas. Great drinks and yummy food. The elevators were a little bit crazy. Took forever for it to arrive sometimes, and there where 10.

We were promised one thing and then it was taken away from us because it was a mistake that was made from staff.

It makes me sad to leave this beautiful, peaceful place. The Kahala is certainly one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at—at least recently. From the valet staff to the front desk to the servers and housekeepers, the Kahala provides excellent and friendly service. The location is convenient—close enough to Waikiki, diamond head, and other tourist spots but not too close to the noise and crowds. Our view was fantastic—we had a spacious balcony overlooking the pristine golf course next door and the mountains. Our room was spacious and incredibly comfortable. The Plumeria was great and there were a handful of other restaurants but I do wish they had more lunch and brunch options as a lot of them opened only for dinner. Their beach was also wonderful—calm and incredibly relaxing, providing plenty of space to reflect and take in the amazing ocean views. I certainly would want to come back and stay here again should I come back to town!
