Koh Samui Kid friendly Vacations

As other reviewers have noted about the sunset, it is a great location for that. The facility has everything you expect from a budget resort but it’s clearly past its prime. The sun loungers are all stained and grubby. The pool bar is used to store an empty fridge. The staff are all polite but this is normal for all of Thailand. The rooms are adequate but in my case the shower rail holding the soap and shampoo slipped out of the wall with both plastic bottles smashing on the tiles. On checkout they had the cheek to try and charge me for this. Of course I didn’t pay but it shows the level of care they have for this aging property that they try and blame guests for its failing state. It’s a shame as it has so much potential if some money were put into it by a new owner.

The room was good. Comfy beds and a clean more updated room. We were on the main floor and the light coming in from the pool area at night was quite bright and we had lots of smokers around which leaked into our room. The pictures of this placed looked really good and the pool looking onto the water is nice. However, the staff seemed to lack attention towards their guests. Each day we were there, there was a new issue in the hotel with guests frustrated. Our check in and check out process was slow. Breakfast that is included was good each morning so that was a highlight. The staff however at the pool bar and around the pool didn’t seem to be interested in taking care of their guests. They have a pool table which seems closed the majority of the time if there are any clouds in the sky. It’s on a very busy street that is difficult to cross and very loud. Not near any of the larger attractions. The beach was not there due to high winds but there is a tiny little one when it’s calm. Overall, if you are just looking for a place to sleep this is good but for another other hospitality and amenities I would look elsewhere.

Staff so friendly and helpful. We were glad we were in the bungalow with our own pool and veranda with se view as you got a lovely breeze from the sea. Only thing would have made this 5 stars if there was a communal air conditioned area as no escape from the heat other than your room. Lovely stay and highly recommend

I only stayed for two nights, but the receptionist was very welcoming. As I was arriving just after the restaurant closed, they arranged for a meal to be brought to my room so I had that when I arrived. They also arranged my transport from the airport and back. The room was spotless and spacious, the bed was comfortable. Beautiful sea view from the terrace. Breakfast was lovely. I couldn't fault it. Would definitely recommend.

Nice environment. The beach and pool are great

Good location, average service (staff has great attitude but for example coffee at breakfast comes very late and cold, so a coffee staion might help). The beach and sea were the biggest disappointment. We chose this hotel largely based on the positive beach reviews, but during our stay the weather created very large waves and it was impossible to swim at all. I wanted to mention this so future guests are aware that the sea conditions may not always match the expectations created by some of the reviews. The food was also average. For instance, we ordered Pad Thai on the beach and the noodles were overcooked and clumped together like a cake.
