Very nice hotel that upheld the Mariott standards. The hotel and rooms are very clean. It is in a very good location, across from the New World shopping center with plenty of shops and food options. It s also connected to a Luckin coffee and McDonalds that we frequented a lot for that morning coffee and late night snack. It is also a very short walk to the Nanjing pedestrian road (west side). The swimming pool is also very nice with a big hot tub. Staff was friendly and helpful, especially a lady by the name of Grace Song. She took care of us during our 1st leg stay in Shanghai with setting up wheelchairs for my parents. She gave us her WeChat and we were able to personally get through to her to help with logistics for our 2nd leg stay after visiting other cities. When we check in, the wheelchairs were already reserved for us. She also helped us get approval for free breakfast due to having to wait for some of the rooms to be available. She also helped us track down and deliver some forgotten items that were shipped from our previous hotel. She even went as far as helping us with some local currency deposit into our WeChat pay when our international credit cards didn't go through!

I had a wonderful stay at PARKROYAL Beijing Wangfujing. A very special thank you to Zara Hu for her exceptional hospitality and service. She was incredibly responsive and helpful even before I checked in, which made me feel genuinely welcomed from the start. Throughout my stay, she consistently assisted me with recommendations, directions, and many thoughtful details that greatly enhanced my experience in Beijing. Her professionalism, attentiveness, and warm personality truly made a difference. I would also like to give a special shout-out to Yue Long from the concierge team. He was always extremely patient in assisting me with my delivery orders, whether from Taobao or Meituan. His friendliness, sense of humor, and willingness to help brightened my days and made my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel itself offers an elegant, relaxing, and comfortable atmosphere. My room was clean, well-maintained, and very pleasant to stay in. The location is also excellent for exploring Beijing. Thank you once again to Zara, Yue Long, and the entire team for making my stay such a memorable and enjoyable one. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Beijing and look forward to staying here again in the future.

Beautiful hotel! Very large rooms, especially for being right down town. Safe and walkable and near lots of options for shopping and site seeing. The staff were lovely. Pool lovely! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Large and comfortable room. Very convenient to the metro and airport.

I stayed at the Peace Hotel with my three children. Pros: excellent breakfast and very convenient to metro and shopping. Cons: rooms and lobby could use updating and my teenage and adult son had to share a foldout couch which was not advertised ahead of time when we booked a room for four people. The nonsmoking floors smell strongly of cigarettes in the hallway.

The Fairmont Peace Hotel is a beautiful hotel that is perfectly located near the Bund. The staff at the hotel are extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Shanghai.
