Shanghai Honeymoon Vacations

This is a fantastic hotel that is very reasonably priced. It looks to be part of a larger development at the site that combines the hotel with high end condos. There is a good restaurant onsite, but be warned that it is literally miles away from anything. I stayed here because of a business client about 5 miles to the south, and didn't want to deal with the 1 hour commute from downtown/central Shanghai, but once my work was done I relocated to central Shanghai to be near the Bund and other interesting places.

The Chateau Hotel/Resort was way better in every respect than we ever could have expected. From its splendid "palatial" construction to its more than comprehensive resort facilities (tennis & badminton courts, indoor/outdoor pools, gym, wellness centre etc etc to its wonderfully helpful and friendly staff as well as its quality Chinese (Shanghai style) restaurant. Set in a quiet leafy area about 6 kms from the city centre it was refreshing to hear the birds singing from our balcony in the morning .. Geoff & Annie from Melbourne Australia

I spend around ~40% of my time traveling and residing in hotels. This establishment stands out as one of the world's most sophisticated luxury destinations. The service, accommodations, and decor are nothing short of sensational. The concierge, Mike Cai, was exceptional—almost like having a personal assistant in a new city. The staff exudes authenticity and attentiveness, creating an unforgettable experience.

Service staffs and hotel location are great. Wishing there are 2 chairs in the double room.

Expedia platinum VIP ACCESS Not recognised. No perks so don’t book if you’re planning to for the vip access perk. The place was abit old. Still acceptable, nothing fancy. For the price, seems reasonable. Bed was good. 3 pillow, each. Winter seems to be abit warm. Personally try to make it cold but couldn’t get the room to be cold. Location is really good nevertheless. A lot of things below and towards walking distance. Hotel lobby pick up point and drop off is kinda bad. Taxi driver usually drop you off opp the hotel because they couldn’t go up or find the location to go up to lobby drop off(at level 2). Not hotel fault but design is abit weird. Overall I booked my stay because of vip access perks and location. Since the perks was a let down, I won’t recommend this place and won’t be staying here again. But overall, location is really good if you like busy street below.

Amazing stay at Regent. Would recommend this spot. Rooms are great and lots around the area. Breakfast is nice with good options. Would happily stay again

Very spacious and elegant rooms with a fantastic oversized bathtub, with amazing view of Pudong. Delicious breakfast.
