Very lovely staff

We stayed at 2 different hotels in Tokyo, each for 3 nights. They were very different experiences. The first was the Hotel Gracery or 'Godzilla' hotel in Shinjuku which was ultra modern, lively, with tiny rooms. In contrast, the Tokyo Dome has rooms of a more common size, making repacking of cases for the flight home more easy. The Dome's biggest negative is that the rooms and landings look rather worn and tired. It needs an overhaul to take it to the standard of all the other 4 hotels we used in Japan. Also, it is busy. Getting a lift up or down from the 16th floor took a long time. First getting a lift, and the lift stopping three or four times on the way. My biggest grumble is that our family suffered an unexpected bereavement back home whist the rest of us were at the Dome. I learned bad news in the middle of the final night and got very little sleep. I pleaded with reception to grant us a late checkout, which would have given some breathing space before starting the 27 hour journey home, but they just said 'no', the hotel is full. The one opportunity they had to shine with some compassion, sadly let us down. Even without that reason, I would not stay at the Dome again, but try one of the other many hotels in the hope that they may be cleaner and better presented.

The location was fantastic. The hotel was quiet, good value, modern and the onsen was fantastic.

Clean new rooms , courteous staff , multiple restaurants and choices .

This is the second time that we are staying here, the last time was 3 years ago, surprising everything is what it was the last time, however, the service, the cleanliness, the place is so well maintained. Well still go back to stay again

Really nice hotel and fantastic location. Super helpful nice staff too. Make sure you ask for non-smoking room if you want one.
